What Our Parents Say

"My oldest has a new found confidence that is radiating to his cousins. He has always be smart and kind but now he seems to be a coach and leader. "

-2023 Camp Parent

"Going to camp was a huge stretch for my 9 year old. She was very nervous about being away from home. But she was very well supported during the week and she came back telling us about all of the things she had done. It definitely gave her more confidence."

-2023 Camp Parent

"It just seemed like it opened up his world, he is more confident and open to trying new things. "

We make every effort to place campers with their requested cabin mates.

Campers limit their cabin mate requests to only one friend to support positive cabin dynamics and encourage new friendships. Cabins are assigned by age and gender, and cabin mates must be within one year of age. Both families must submit the request on the registration form, Cabin Life Form, or in writing to the Camp Registrar before arrival. Requests made within one week of the session are not guaranteed.

Campers are not allowed to have cash at camp.

Before your camper’s session, you can add money to their Trading Post account using the WALLET feature. This feature also allows you to view the balance, add funds and check purchase history.

Campers can ask their counselors for their daily balance to manage spending. At the end of the week, the remaining funds can either be refunded or donated to the Camp Classen Community Charity Program.
